Primarily, IMHO, this shortage issue is clearly and simply a demonstration and manifestation over lack of planning! As if the authority didn't know how this could happen. The facts are:
-> it happens EVERY year!
-> there are only handful of suppliers (AFAIK, one only!).

By now, authority should have a clear statistic of consumptions during festive/peak seasons. Work with provider/manufacturer to sufficiently stock the sugar. But then, I am sure this has taken place... but why the shortage? Quick fix! That's my answer -- for quick price hike! What else can be the reason to jack-the-price-a-bit?! Who enjoys this margin? *hah! lu pikir la sendiri!*

sebagai pengguna, yang harus kita lakukan, jangan la beli gula banyak2.. beli secukupnya ja.. banyak gula pun x bagus buat kesihatan, kang penuh lak hospital kat malaysia ni sebab rakyat nya banyak menghidap penyakit kencing manis..
